What is Café
Chica?
Café Chica is organic,
fair-trade, and locally roasted coffee with sales serving as a
fundraiser to help women and children, both in Avery and Watauga
counties, and in Latin America.
Bald Guy Brew imports
this coffee from El Cafe Femenino, a women's cooperative coffee
plantation in Latin America. The coffee is only available for import to
the United States if a portion of the proceeds benefit local women's and
children's causes. So, by purchasing Café Chica you make a difference in
the lives of women and children, all before breakfast!
Where can I
purchase Café
Chica?
Café Chica retails for $13 per
pound and is available at Bare Essentials, Black Bear Books, Erick's
Cheese and Wine, Kojay's Coffee, Green Mother Goods, and Peabody's Wine
